Jule and I left Vegas and stayed at my friend Rachel's house overnight before heading up to Santa Barbara. Jule found someone to host us in Santa Barbara through CouchSurfing.

| Our host Wes, actually lives on a ranch in a converted barn/ stable. Many years ago, animals were actually kept here. It was quite a unique accommodation. The stable was converted with a 2 bedroom and 1 bath living area. |

| Being that this was once a stable, it was still extremely cold at night. |

| We decided to put on some hats to keep warm. |

| In the morning we headed to Santa Ynez to visit some local wineries. |

| We had a wine tasting flight of 3 reds and 3 whites for $10. |
