The Temples of Khajuraho (known for their kamasutra sculptures)

Hello again,
I am back on line and now I am in Jaipur (the pink city).

Hopefully, the downloading speed is a little bit faster here so I can download the pics from these amazing temples that I had visited.  Of the 85 temples in Khajuraho, 20 of them are still well preserved and in good condition.  All throughout India, many of the hindu temples were destroyed and desecrated during the time of the muslim conquerers.  Khajuraho is in central India and was very remote and difficult to get to which is why it was probably saved from destruction.

There are three temples divided by western eastern and southern sites.  The largest and most popular would be the western temple.

The temples do not have any sexual or explicit sculptures in the interior but the external sculptures of the temples are quite erotic and of an extremely detailed and sexual nature.
