My very first Puka Dog and snorkeling Hanauma Bay...

Hello friends,
I have gotten to use all of my senses when it comes to experience the culinary delights of Hawaii.

Chicagoans are definitely known for our Vienna Beef Hot Dogs!  Well, Hawaiian locals suggested that I taste a Hawaiian hot dog, also known as the "puka dog."
I walked by and saw a huge line extending outside of their door.  I decided to go for it and wait.  After about 40 minutes in line, I finally got to experience what the fuss was all about!

They have several dispensers for each flavored condiment.

They heat the buns on these hot metal rods to keep them warm.

The finished product after waiting for 40 minutes in line.
