Iron Chef's Restaurant...... Morimoto Waikiki and Tantalus Lookout...

Hello friends,
Nancy and I have been having a blast going to restaurants and researching only best food here in Honolulu.  We have gone to little hole in the wall dives, local joints to 5 star restaurants.

Today, we wanted to experience Iron Chef Morimoto's 5 star restaurant. We had to experience what he is best known for which is his sushi.

softshell crab, spiey tuna and eel avocado rolls

melted crab sandwich with watsabi fries and a fresh green salad

We went back to Morimoto's for dessert and tried the chocolate peanut  bombe ( milk chocolate, cremeux and salted peanut ice cream)

During the day, I took Nancy to the best view of Waikiki and Diamond Head.  I took her to Tantalus.

I wanted to leave you with my most favorite eating places in Honolulu:

1. Alan Wong's- 5 star restaurant and worth every penny
(You can go to the pineapple room too ( lower grade and Alan Wong's cheaper and more affordable restaurant in ala moana mall) but for the experience, go to the 5 star location.
My personal favorite was the Ginger Crusted Onaga, Long-Tail Red Snapper
