Phi Phi Island and The Big Buddha of Phuket

My friends and I decided to take a tour of the Phi Phi Islands which is also known for its wonderful snorkeling.  We got on a speedboat tour of the islands.  Apparently, the phi phi islands are well reknowned for many scenery shots in movies.  "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio was shot here.  http://phi-phi.com/gallery/464/01-phi-phi-island-movies-the-beach.htm

The trip by speedboat is about 45 minutes from Phuket and the water was pretty choppy.  I started to get sea sick.  After about 20 minutes, I had many close calls of throwing up but I was able to keep my cool.

On another day, we hired a driver for the day to tour around Phuket.

We visited the famous Big Buddha of Phuket.
