More island hopping in Palawan with our new friends!!

Rainbow over our cottage

My cousin found Nemo!

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.  Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.  ~Mark Twain

Hello all,
My cousin and I spent our days visiting the various islands of nearby El Nido.  Since there is no electricity from 6AM-6PM everyday, it was best to spend the day away from El Nido and explore the natural beauty and flora of the other islands.

We spent our second and third boat tour with our new friends Guillermo, Jake and Jesse. The second boat tour B consists of:
1. Snake Island
2. Cudognon Cave
3 Cathedral Cave
4. Pinagbuyatan Island

and the third boat tour C consists of:
1. Secret Beach
2. Matinloc Island and Tapuitan Island
3. Star Beach
4. Hidden Beach

During our 2nd boat tour, our boat ended up breaking down on Snake Island.  Uh oh!  We had to crash another boat where we met the cutest newlywed couple, Jeremy and Pauline!!  They are a French couple that lives in London.  They just got married and are traveling the world and backpacking for 8 months together!

Secret Beach

The Secret Beach is a hidden beauty.  In order to get here, we have to swim through a narrow keyhole slot in the western wall of Matinloc.  The entrance is surrounded by jagged rocks and corals.  You cannot swim through if there are any waves because any accident would be fatal.  When we swam through, we were assisted and pulled through quickly by two people.  They did not say why they were doing this, but later on discovered the dangers of swimming through this passage.
